A quick update on our market and the low-inventory situation.
Here’s a quick market update for the Orlando area. In January 2022, the median home price rose to $326,000 from the $280,000 average we had in January 2021. This significant appreciation is due to the low supply and high demand that’s driving our market.
But… there is good news! In January, we had 1,108 new listings come to the market which is closer to the 5 year average of 1,368. With increased inventory and increased sales prices, homeowners in Central Florida will be inspired to sell. Spring is always a good time to “spring clean” but it may be a great time to “spring sell” as well.
