Here’s what’s happening in our current Orange County real estate market.
Today we’re sharing a quick update about what’s happening here in the Orange County real estate market. Currently, we’re at only 2.1 months of inventory; to put that into perspective, we’d expect to have six months’ worth of inventory in a balanced, healthy market. This low-inventory environment is wonderful for sellers, but buyers may have to wait a little longer to find their dream home.
We’re in a strong seller’s market; our average days on market is just 38, and the median days on market is 14. That means half of the houses in Orange County are selling in fewer than two weeks. Homes that are move-in ready, have the updates buyers are looking for, are located in great neighborhoods, and (most importantly) are priced correctly will practically fly off the market as soon as they’re listed.
